(From Oar Own Correspomlenl). A PUT, June 12. It was with sincere regret that rtridents of the district learnt, of the sudden passing of Mrs W. (J. Dreamer, of Vogel Street, Palmerston North, early on Saturday morning. As the eldest daughter ol Mrs Ik A. Ilarland, she was well-known in Apiti, where she lived with her mother, sisters and brothers prior to her marriage some four years ago. Only 20 years of age. she was of a very bright and happy disposition and much loved by all w!io knew her. Her sudden demise r.une as a shock to all members of her family, who did not know her indisposition was serious. Much sympathy is fell for the bereaved husband and lir.lle lln-ec-veav-old daughter, also her mother, Airs ilarland. of Apiti, and Misses Molly (Christchurch) and Slflla (Apiti) and Messrs Don. Alec and Robert Harland, all of Apiti. The funeral took place in Feilding this afternoon. Mr H. A. Stanley, ton of Mr and Mrs G." M. Stanley who has spent three years in the Chief Post Office, Palmerston North, has been appointed a draughting cadet in the P. and T. engineer’s office, Wellington.
