EX GRATIA PAYMENT.
ELECTROCUTION OF COW, The Manawatu-Oroua Power Board, to-day, decided to make an ex gratia’ payment of £25 to Mr AY. Havworth. of Stanway, who had claimed this amount for the loss ol a cow which was electrocuted when a power line came down on his property.
