A MILE A GALLON.
TASMAN FLYING-BOATS. Received June 9, S.o a.m. LONDON, June S. The Daily Telegraph’s aeronautical editor discloses that tho Tasman fly-ing-boats Aotearoa, Awarua and Australia can fly a mile to the gallon with 21 tons of all-up weight, and erasing at 150 miles an hour. Each is equipped with an automatic pilot and retractable and transparent dome for navigational observation of planets.
