QUARTERLY CONFERENCE. I An ■ important conference, attended by representatives of the Y.W.C.A. Board of Directors, the Business and Professional Women's Round Table Club, Business Girls’ Lyceum, 3Y9 Club. Girl Citizens, Junior Citizens and basketball teams, was held at the home of the president (Mrs C. A. Small) recently, the general secretary (Miss M. .Tones) being in the chair. The discussion of the conference concerned plans for the Winter Show | stall, the 21st. annual meeting and j the Centennial Exhibition in Wellington. The appreciation of the conference for her hospitality was expressed to Airs Small by Miss I. Madden and Nola Jordan. A mothers’ club was formed during the week and will meet, ovorv month, its purpose being to strengthen the activities carried out among the girls am l to assist with the finances. Tim Lvecum Club and the 3Y9 club eonih'ned for their last meeting and greatlv armrecinted the film of his trip abroad shown by Air A. R. AfeKc"g. The Board of Directors met this afternoon at the homo of Airs Phillip I Flood.
