WEDDING.
FALLAVER—DUNCALF. Victorian frocks of bougainvilla silver threaded taffeta were worn by the two bridesmaids who attended Miss Eileen Dunealt at her wedding in Palmerston North recently, 'liiey were Miss Melva Day, chief, Palmerston North, and Miss Peggy Fallaver, 1 sister of the • bridegroom, and they carried cyclamen shaded bouquets and wore top-knots of ■ bougainvillas in their hair. The bride, only daughter of Mr and Mrs P. Duncalf, Palmerston North, was married to John Anderson, eldest son of Ali-s A. B. Fallaver and the late Mr A. B. Fallaver, Wellington. The ceremony took place at All Saints’ Church, Palmerston North, Rev. J. Holland officiating. The. bride’s gown was of cream burnished gold lame cloque with a circular train. A long tulle veil fell from a wired halo of tulle and she wore a. pearl necklace. Cream lilies, and ehry-• snnthemums made her bouquet. _ | Air 1). Fallaver, Ekctahuna, was his brother’s best man and Mr R. Dim-j calf, Palmerston North, the bride’s brother, was groomsman. Bougainvillas and Iceland poppies! decorated the Rosco tearooms for the reception, which followed. Mrs Duncalf received her guests in a frock o' vineyard shccynmnyne with lint to tone and fur cape. Mrs Fallaver. in a gown of printed silk, a lace bolero and small black hat with ostrich plume, assisted her. Miss Melva Day and Yfr B. Sheriff, both of Palmerston North, sang during the reception. The bride travelled in a teal blue I frock with swagger coat and halo hat to tone. Mr and Mrs Fallaver will make their home in Motucka. South Island. Prior to her marriage a mini her of gift parties were given hv Palmerston North and Marton friends in honour of Miss Eileen Duncalf.
