PALMERSTON NORTH CLUB.
BOGEY COMPETITION. During the week-end the Palmerston North Golf Club conducted a four-hall bogey competition. The conditions were ideal, the fairways and greens showing very little of the effects which tho dry spell has had on them. So far only two greens are showing any visible effects, which is very good considering the small amount of water that has been applied to them. From the cards which were handed in tho condition of the links can lie gauged. The results are: Section No. I.—D. Tottman and G. Kenning 7 up, S. Toon and G. Rankin 7 up. Tottman and Kenning won on the count hack. Section No. 2: P. and E. Hutchins 6 up. B. Murphy and A. AA’ard 6 up. Hutchins brothel's won on the count hack. After a very interesting match in the final for the four-ball tobacco jars which is a summer competition. 1). and R. Harkness heat S. Toon and G. Rankin at the 19th.
