MOTORIST KILLED.
COLLISION WITH POLE. Per Press Association. HASTINGS. April 16. Wlipii the oa.r in which they were travelling left the road on a curve at
Waiohiki, near Taradalc, at 1 o’clock this morning and collided with a telegraph pole the driver «aud two passengers injured. The victim was:
PERCY STANLEY LOWE, Aged 21, of Hastings. He suffered extensive injuries from which he died almost immediately. The injured are:—Jack Thear, aged 23, of Hastings, and Hector Smith, aged 28, of Elsthorpe. Both suffered head injuries and abrasions. Thev were admitted to the Napier Hospital, Thear being discharged this morning. The terrific force of the impact tore the side from the car.
