FATAL INJURIES
TE HORO ACCIDENT. OTAKI MAN SUCCUMBS. The death occurred in the Palmerston North Hospital early this morning of William Hakarie Roach, carpenter, a married man, aged 57 years, as the result of injuries received in the accident near Te Horo on Monday night. Mr Roach, who resided at Otaki, was a front-seat passenger in one of two cars which met in collision. He was admitted to hospital the same night in a serious condition. The driver of the car in which Mr Roach was a passenger was Mr I). G. Fraser, of Petone. The other car was driven by Mr W. Carroll, of Hastings, who escaped with only slight injuries.
