FEDERATION’S WORK. Rev Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 29. The New Zealand Poultry Conference opened to-day. Rev. AV. E. Stent (Carterton) presiding. He complained of the indifference of poultry farmers to tlie federation. Numbers and money talked, ho said, and if one had no money numbers were a good substitute. Air Stent was still hopeful of bringing some sign of order into the present chaotic marketing conditions. Revenue was shown to he £332 lGs Id. including the Poultry Board subsidy of £313 10s and capitation fees £l7 9s 6d. Expenditure totalled £197 12s 9d.
