GOLF.
PALMERSTON NORTH CLUB. Members of the Palmerston North Golf Club played an unofficial single Stableford bogey competition at the week-end. A large number of players took the opportunity of the line weather to participate, and play was very close, the result being a tie by four players with 35. The leading players were:— R. Harkneas, D. Hark ness, B. VMton, G. Scorgie. 3.5; E. Wilson, 33; W. Aitkon. D. Tottman and W. Murphy, 31. The course is in excellent order and all players are looking forward to the opening of the season.
