MARINE AWARD.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 27. An award covering the conditions for ship’s masters and officers engaged in the coastal trade, the Union Steam Ship Company excepted, has been issued by the Court. It provides as follows :—lOl to 600 tons, master £42 11s 8d chief officer £27 11s Bd. second officer £23 11s Bd. third officer £23 Is 8d; 601 to 1000 tons, master £44 11s Bd, chief officer £2B 11s Bd. second officer £24 11s Bd. third officer £23 Is Bd. Special provision has been made for certain vessels and for duty performed outside of ordinary hours, on Sundays at sea, etc.
