Sir Charles Trevelyan, a former Labour raemlier of Parliament, has adopted an attiude similar to that of Messrs Revan and Strauss. The warning has been issued to seven leading niemliers of the Labour Party who were associated with Sir Stallord Cripps in advocating a Popular Front. They include Mr C. C. Poole, M.P. (Lab.) and Mr Will Lawther, actingpresident- of tlie Mine Workers’ Federation. If Mr Lawther is expelled, the miners may desert the Labour Party.
