ZEEBRUGGE HERO.
DEATH OF LT.-COMMANDER DEAN. LONDON, March 20. Obituary: The Zeobrugge hero, Lt.Commander Percy Thompson Doan, V.C. Lieutenant-Commander Dean, late R.N.V.R., won the V.C. for rescuing the officers and men from the blockships at Zeebrugge on the night of April 22-23. He was Coalition-Union-ist M.P. for Blackburn from 1919 to 1922.
