NOTES.
Owing to the present inadequacy of the town water supply, Woodville has been placed in the unenviable position of not being able this year to utilise its municipal baths for swimming sports. It. is considered that the borough is one of very few wherein the facilities have not been made available for using the baths. Settlers on the Saddle Bond, AYoodville, stated that the season has been an exceptionally dry one for them, with a resultant shortage of water. The showers which set in on Monday evening will he aonreeiated. An attractive programme has been compiled for the sports meeting to be held at Kumeroa on Faster Saturday, entries closing shortly. Particulars appear in this issue.
