WOMEN ATHLETES.
OLYMPIC GAMES. LONDON. Feb. 9. “Talent scouts” are combing Britain to discover attractive women .athletes to compete in the 1940 Olympiad in Finland. Feminine tvp>s will be chosen and coached and will l>e instructed in the preservation of an attractive appearance.
The 'Women’s Amateur Athletic Association hopes to form a summer school for them on the Hill outside the Olvmpic Village from which, incidentally. 2.000.000 people could watch the finish of the Marathon.
