Ihe February rnccling of (he AA'omen's Institute was held in the hall. Airs Ben Frccklington presiding. The first- part of flic afternoon was occupied with general business and arrniitremrnrs for the romnlcti°n of the financial year. The nomination papers for the election of tire now committee were distributed to members. '1 ho rest of the afternoon was devoted to a social, hour, with community singing niid complctitions. Afternoon tea was served, the hostesses being Afesdames Ifnzlcwood and Cameron and Aliss F. Palmer. Competitions were won by Mrs Freeldington a,, d Aliss Ifnzlcwood. Arrangements were T’* 107 ' hold the picnic at Tangiinoana.— Ohakca correspondent.
