MANAWATU v ( LOWER HUTT. SENIORS AND JUNIORS. The Manawatu Lawn Tennis Association played the junior representatives of the Lower Hutt Sub-Associa-tion. at Palmerston North, yesterday, in a strong westerly wind. The seniors played, a friendly game against the Lower Hutt seniors. Manawatu lost the senior contest by 11 matches to 5, but won the junior by 13 to 11. The wind proved troublesome at tile start, but the keenness of the games counteracted this. Miss Attwood was the only lady in the junior matches to win her singles.
