FISHING NETS EXAMINED.
Surprise was caused at Foxton Beach on Thursday night-, when a fisheries in spcctor examined the nets and carried out confiscation where the requirements of a four-inch mesh for flounder fishing had not been observed. It is understood that visits were also made further down the coast, when similar action was taken. Nets for taking flounders must be four inches in the mesh.
