REPRESENTATIVE GAMES. MANAW AT U FAKE BADLY. In three of the four representative cricket matches played in Palmerston North yesterday Manawatu sides were unsuccessful. At the Sportsground, Southern Hawke’s Bay beat a Manawatu senior B grade team, Feilding succeeded against Manawatu Colts, thus winning the Goldfinch and Cousins Cup, and Horowhenua beat the Manawatu third eleven. 'Die day was saved from being a total defeat lor Manawatu at Terrace End, where the Manawatu junior team beat Wanganui juniors. Excellent weather was experienced, and all four pitches were in good condition.
