BATHING SHOES.

Bathing caps and shoes of rubber last a short time unless given a little care after use. If they are set aside slightly damp from seawater they quickly deteriorate and become sticky and useless. Rinse them under fresh ■water, dal; dry with a towel, and then give a sprinkling of talcum powder, specially inside the cap. Bathing shoes, etc., treated thus will last three times longer than neglected ones.
