Karl Vi liter ton (Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster), in a speech today, said : “Those una.miable septuagenarian's, Mr Lloyd George and Air H. G. Wells, have recently been screaming defiance against the dictators and Mr Chamberlain. What an odd wav for these old gentlemen to spend their last years! They are scolding a world which has long ceased to take cither seriously.”
