Levin and Co., Ltd., have received tho following cabled report from their London agents:—The demand for lambs is limited, and prices aro likely to decline in the near future, 'fine mutton market, continues weakall round. Compared with last, week’s quotations, all grades of lamb aro ad a. lb lower; wethers, 481 b to 721 b, ad a, lb lower; others, unchanged. Quotations 011 a, “delivered” basis are as follow:—North Island Down, lambs, 281 b to 361 b, 7Jd a lb; 561 b to 421 b, 7RI. Best. North Island crossbred lambs, 281 bto 361 b, 7|r); 361 bto 421 b, 73d. North Island second quality lambs, average 301 bto 311 b, 7£d. Best, North Island wether sheep, under 481 b, 43(1; 481 b to 561 b, 4d; 561 bto 641 b, 4d; 641 bto 721 b, 4(1. North Island owes, under 481 b, 3(1; 481 b to 561 b, 2|d; 561 b to 641 b, 2£d; 6411) to 721 b. 23d. New Zealand prime ox beef, 1601 b to 2201 b, none offering.
