EXPLOSION IN PALESTINE. Received August 27, 8.5 a.m. JERUSALEM, Aug. 26. Tt is estimated that 30 persons were killed and 60 injured in a powerful bomb explosion in the Arab market at Jaffa. MORE TERRORISM. 16 PERSONS KILLED. Received August 27. 11.30 a.m. JERUSALEM, Aug. 26. It is officiallv stated that 16 persons were killed and 30 injured at Jaffa by a bomb explosion and subsequent sniping. stoning and arson. Hie police fired on Arabs attacking police stations and banks. The troops are checking looting at Jaffa and Tel Avid. The fire brigades are fighting a series of outbreaks. Shops and banks arc closed and the situation is easing. COMMISSION SITTING. EVIDENCE IN PRIVATE.
