SUGAR COUNCIL DELEGATES
SIR H. ELLES APPOINTED. , (British Official Wireless). Received August 27, 10.5 a.m. RUGBY, Aug. 26. The Government has appointed General Sir Hugh Elies (Master General of Ordnance, War Office) as one of the British delegates on the International Sugar Council, succeeding LieutenantColonel Francis Balfour, who lias resigned. The appointment will date from September 1.
