GREAT MILITARY PARADE
ADMIRAL HORTHY ENTERTAINED. LONDON,' Aug. 23. The British United Press correspondent at Berlin reports that Admiral Horthy, accompanied by Herr Hitler, in the historic Tiergaten witnessed the biggest military parade in Germany since the war, transcending those staged for Signor Mussolini’s visit and Herr Hitler’s brtlulay. Sixty T-one thousand troops participated with 308 guns, including some seen for the first time in public, the size of which visibly surprised the foreign military attaches.
There were also 412 tanks, 700 motorised vehicles, 318 motor-cycles and 72 horse-drawn vehicles, which passed by' the saluting base. A high wind prevented war ’planes participating.
