AGREEMENT INVALIDATED.
AMERICAN SHIPPING LINES.
WASHINGTON, Aug. 24
The United States Maritime Commisison has invalidated the 1930 agreement under which for ten years the Dollar Steamship Lino has paid the Matson Navigation Company 50 per cent, of its gross receipts from its Hawaiian and United States Pacific Coast traffic and divided the Pacific traffic. The Matson Company has agreed to refrain from American and Asiatic, Philippines and Guam traffic, while the Dollar iLno has refrained from the New Zealand, Australian, Fijian and Samoan traffic.
