• The Theosophical Hall was attraci tively decorated on Tuesday for the monthly, meeting of the vocal group of the British Music Society, with baskets and bowls of pink camellias, prnnus blossom and foliage. The programme was as follows : Vocal solos. Mr H. Woodhouse, “Droop Not. Young Lover” (Handel) and “Don Juan’s Serenade” (Tschaikowsky); i ladies’ two-part song, Mesdames D. Niven, C. Findlay, M. Pearce and Misses J. Bovis, P. Phillips and L. McDonald. “As It Fell Upon a Day” (Alfred Wheeler); vocal solos, Mr C. McAffer, “To-morrow” (Keel) and “Love’s ' Garden '' of Roses” - (Haydn Wood); vocal solos, Miss V. Corke. “Elegie” (Massenet); ’cello obligato bv Miss J. Paton, “I See a Tree” (Michael Hodges); ’cello solos. Miss J. Paton, “Sonata” (Marcello) and “Rondo” (Boccherini); vocal solos, Miss J. Bovis, “Gretchen and the Spinning Wheel” (Schubert) and “Lullaby” (Cyril Scott); vocal solo, Mr A. Brown, “A Dream of Egypt” (A. Woodforde Finden); vocal solos, Mrs J. Curtis, “A Song of Thanksgiving” (F. Alliston) and “A. Ghost” (Evelyn Sharpe); vocal duet, Misses G. Laurensen and L. McDonald, “Snowdrops” (Liza Lehmann); vocal solos. Mrs H. Bvers, “My Heart is Weary” (Goring Thomas)' and “The - Water]ily” (Christian Hellemann). The accompanists were Mesdames I. Rickard. A. McNeilly, H. Woodhouse and Miss Lola Bilick.

Supper was served bv the hostesses, Mesdames E. Miller. M. Pearce and Miss J. Bovis.
