WEST END DANCE.

In spite of many counter-attrac-•tions,. the usual fortnightly West End dance was well patronised, and oldtime dancing was thoroughly enjoyed by.a large number of dancers. Prizewinners were as follow : Gay Gordons, Mr Richards and partner; Monte Carlo, Mrs Wright and Mr McEwen. An enjoyable extra waltz was played by Mr Gardner on the piano-accord-ion. Mr W. Collins was an efficient M.C. The ladies committee, headed by Mrs G. Tremaine, provided 1 a bountiful supper.
