MELODY DANCE CLUB.

The usual fortnightly old-time dance was held by the above club on Saturday evening in'the Cosmopolitan Hall, which was again attended by a large number. This well-known dance has undoubtedly become a most popular and sociable function. The organisers, Miss W. R. Hubbard and Mr H. R. York, extended a welcome to all. A professional orchestra supplied the dance music exceptionally well. A dainty and >mntifu] supper was served by the ladies’ committee. The duties of M.C.’s were most efficiently carried out by Messrs H-. R. York and H. Southee. This very happy evening was brought to a close with the singing of the National Anthem.
