JUNIOR NATIONAL PARTY.
SUCCESSFUL DANCE Attractively arranged berries and greenery against the walls of the Jade Tearoom, with tall pa-lrns in the corners, made a charming background for pretty frocks at the Junior National Party dance last night. No effort had been spared to make the occasion a success, those responsible _ being:—? Messrs J. O’B. Beckett (president), L. Spencer (secretary), G. Thomson, I). Roche, B. Davidson, I. Hayward, M. Pienard. B. Graves, W. Young and Misses J. Barnett, who wore gold taffeta; It. Barling, black taffeta; E. Moffatt, ice-blue taffeta with sequin shoulder straps; B. Nash and Y. Kapley. Among those present were Mr and Mrs J. A. Nash, the latter wearing black net and taffeta over gold; Mi* J. O’B. Beckett, brown frilled taffeta; and members of the,Senior National Party and its committece. A professional orchestra supplied tuneful rhythm and extras were played by Messrs J. A. Nash and H. Ora.m. Streamers, paper caps and squeakers added to the gaiety of the occasion. , Members of the ladies’ committee of the National Party present were:— Mesdames E. B. Jennings, in electric blue cloque and velvet coat; G. C. Keeble, midnight blue velvet; L. <E. Bale, clover lace, Iv. Clayton, pigeonwing blue lace, Miss M. Murray, pink angel-skin lace, Russian squirrel coat.
