DUNEIN, Dec. 15. Fat cattle prices showed an easing at the Burnside stock sale to-day. The largo yarding includod a few trucks of prime, but the bulk of the entry consisted of light to medium quality. Extra prime bullocks to £l9 15s, prime £l4 10s to £l6, medium and light £lO to £l2 10s; extra prime cows and heifers to £ll 7s 6d, prime £8 10s to £lO, medium £6 to £B. light down to £4. On a per 1001 b basis there was a geperal easing. Extra prime bullocks were quoted at £1 18s 6d, prime £1 14s: prime cows and heifers £1 15s, inferior quality £1 Bs.

The yarding of storo cattle was very large. Young cattle predominated, but the demand was poor and values generolly eased. One pen of exceptionally good five-year steers brought £ll 4s. In the dairy cattle section good young sorts close to profit made to £7. The entry of fat sheep was mainly medium and light sorts. Prime wethers brought to £1 14s 9d, medium £1 3s to £1 6d, light down to 18s; extra prime young ewes to £1 9s, prime £1 2s to £l 6s, medium 16s 6d to 19s, light and inferior sorts down to 10s. Nearly 330 fat lambs were offered and the supply was just sufficient for butchers’ requirements. Values firmed slightly on recent parity. Extra prime lambs brought to £1 10s, prime £1 6s to £1 8s 6d. medium £1 2s to £1 4s 6d.

The fat pig section found prices on a par with a week ago. Baconers were worth to £4 5s and porkers to £3.
