BUDGE BEATS CRAWFORD. MELBOURNE. Dec. 7 In the Victorian tennis championships to-day the men’s singles quarterfinals resulted as follows: —J. D. Budge beat J. H. Crawford, 7 —5, 6—4, 3—6, B—6;8 —6; V. B. McGrath beat L. Schwartz, s—-7,5 — -7, 6 —3, 6 —2, 6 —3; A. K. Quist beat H. Hopman, B—6,8 —6, 6—l, 6—3. Misses Wynne, Bundy and Hartigan won their singles matches.
