GAS-BOMBS USED.
DEMONSTRATORS DISPERSED. KANSAS CITY, Dec. 6: Forty policemen hurling gas-bombs dispersed between 300 and 40b demonstrators at the Ford assembly plant. The demonstrators arrived in cars and moved toward the plant, where 15 policemen were on duty. Patrolcars brought reinforcements in response to a frantic radio summons. Their bombs speedily drove off the demonstrators. The regional organiser of the United Automobile Workers issued a statement declaring that the demonstration was decided on to show the solidarity of the union for the Ford workers.
