CITY OF CANTON.
INHABITANTS WARNED. WILL BE BOMBED. Received November 25, 10.30 a.m. SHANGHAI, Nov. 24. The Japanese have warned the inhabitants of Canton to evacuate the city as it will henceforth be the subject of indiscriminate bombing. Food riots have broken out in the French Concession in Shanghai and thousands of ragged refugees have beseiged the rice shops. The police are dispersing mobs by baton charges. A., food shops are now guarded.
