The Wellington secondary schools’ representative soccer teams, junior and senior, passed through Pajmerston North at 1 p.m. to-day on their way to the secondary schools tourney which is to he held at Wanganui this week. They were under the charge of Mr J. Grono. Simultaneously the Napier junior team arrived and transferred to the New Plymouth express. They were in the charge of Mr L. Wilson. Messrs G. Geekie and R. E. Kempson, members of the Manawatu Football Association, greeted the boys when they arrived. The Manawatu secondary schools junior representative team will leave to-morrow morning. Three senior and five- junior teams from the Association football centres of the North Island will participate in the tourney.
