KIDNAPPING THREAT.

DAUGHTER.
LOS ANGLES, Aug. 28. G-men are investigating a letter composed of words clipped from magazines threatening to Kidnap Mr Wallace Beery’s six-year-old adopted daughter, Carolanne if 10,000 dollars are not paid before Thursday. The child is heavily guarded at Mr Beery’s home, and he is hurrying home from Utah, where he has been on location. '
