HOTEL PROPERTY SOLD.
AN AUCKLAND PURCHASER. Offered by public auction at Mouneeys Mart to-day, the Majestic Hotel land and buildings in Avenue were sold for £22,770, Mr F. G. Major, as agent for Mr Charles Boyle, of Auckland, being the successful bidder. There was only one other bid, of £22.500. Following the reading of tho conditions of sale the actual auction occupied less than two minutes.
