Hospital Women's Auxiliary 25 Y.W.C.A 25 Total sum received 1,550 A letter from the Mayor will accompany the cheques to the various institutions setting out the following extract from Lord Nufiield’s letter: “While I am anxious that this distribution shall be made at your sole and absolute discretion, it is my wish that prior consideration may be given to such causes as crippled children, hospital and maternity work, and those suffering from such afflictions as blindnes, deafness and dumbness.” The Mayor desires the money to be expended in the directions expressed by the donor, and requests the various institutions to report in duo course as to how the money has been expended, so that Lord Nuffield may be acquainted of the directions in which his generous donation has been apjdied.
