PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH. (From Our Own Correspondent.) APITI, July 22. A meeting of the Ladies’ Guild of the Presbyterian Church was held on Tuesday aftornoon at tho home of Mrs Bensoman. In addition, there were also prosont: Mesdames Hodson, Wm. Duncan, McNichol, and Miss Cowan. A comprehensive report of tho year’s activities was presented by Mrs Duncan (hon. secretory) and was open for discussion, before its final presentation at the annual meeting of the Presbyterian Church committee to be held shortly. Fresh work was handed out to the workers and completed sewing taken charge of for the sale of work later on. PERSONAL. .
Mr and Mrs J. O’Hagan are away on holiday. Mrs Fitzgerald with her husband and family, of Gisborne, is on a holiday visit to her mother, Mrs Duncan, senr.
