MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
The fortnightly sitting of the Feeding Magistrate’s Court was held today, Mr R. M. Watson, S.M., presid ing. On information laid by Mr J. W. Coddlngton (Transport Department), J. M. White (Waitara) was convicted and fined £l, with costs 10s, on a charge of having driven an unlicensed motor vehicle on the BullsSanson main highway on June 9, 1937. AV. A. Morton, of Rangiwahia, was charged with driving a motor vehicle in South Street. Feilding, at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour. Air Coddington said that defendant had been travelling at 50 miles per hour. A fine of £2, with costs 12*, was imposed.
