PERSONAL.
The death of Mr E. O. Mackay, Rotorua, occurred while he was visiting New Plymouth a few days ago. Mr Mackay was born at Nelson, where his father was a judge of the Native Land Court. He was well known in the Feilding and Te Kuiti districts, where he formerly lived. Dr. and Mrs K. G. Salmond, of Feilding, are spending a holiday at the Tongariro National Park. Mr and Mrs C. B. McClure, of School House, Feilding, are visiting Wellington for a week. Miss V. McFarland, of Wanganui, is staying with Mr and Mrs S. Hocken, of Ivimbolton Road, Feilding. Guests who have arrived in Feilding for the Brovn-MacFarland wedding tonight include Mr D. A. Alexander (Wairoa), Mrs A. G. MacFarlancl (Wanganui), Miss A. Charles (Wellington), and Miss Mary MacFarland (Wanganui).
