RONGOTEA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) RONGOTEA. July 20.
A well attended meeting of the Rnngn- . tea branch of the National Party was hold on Monday evening. Mr A. Burgess occupied the chair, and outlined proposals for holding a rally in the interests of the party, to which the public would ho invited. It was decided that a social evening ho arranged, when Mr Toogood, of Wellington, will be invited to speak. Arrangements for a musieal programme were left to Mr D. B. Rowe. Supper will bo provided and Mesdames A. Burgess and C. W. Davison were appointed conveners of the ladies’ committee to arrange the catering. The secretary was instructed to writo to the relatives of the late Mr A. GGust, and convey an expression of sympathy from the meeting.
