TABLE FLAT. (From Our Own Correspondent.) APITI. July 19. In spite of snow, sleet and rain on Friday Might, the Table Flat residents turned out in full force to a surprise party at the home of Air and Airs J. McMurtrie. Huge log fires and the warm glow of lamplight offered a cheery welcome to the visitors. Games, cards, and dancing to gramaphone music occupied the evening. The party was arranged by the young people by way of a farewell to Air and Airs McMurtrie. who are shortly leaving Table Flat, and good wishes ere expressed for their well-being in their new home. FOOTBALL. Owing to Ibe extremely bad weather prevailing on Saturday all matches were postponed. The day was bitterly cold and a covering of snow was seen on all the higher levels.
