(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS. July 16. There was a large attendance, at the Tennis Club’s “500” party on Wednesday evening, and flic winners were .Mrs It. Lyles and Air K. D. Scott. The Bulls Basketball Club scored a win over Kopane on Wednesday by 14 goals to 8. Scorers for Bulls were Misses Kearney (8) and Button (6) and for Kopane Alisses G. Parsons and N. Hall each shot 4 goals. Mr D. AL O’Connell refereed. A return match between t-lio Sanson and Bulls Oibbago Clubs was played at Bulls oil Wednesday night, the visitors winning by four games. Air S. Rich is on holiday in Rotorua. Air C. C. Price, has been spending a few days in Wellington. Mrs E. Colon,an is visiting Stratford, and is the guest of Mrs J. Alail. Mrs T. H. Green is spending a holiday at Kimbolton. Mr and Airs L. Kobcrslcin left Ibis week for Taranaki and Auckland. Mrs W. Xatzko lias returned home after touring- Auckland and Hawke’s Bay. Miami Mrs L. Mortimer and family, of Palmerston North, have conic to reside in Bulk, Mr Morlimcr being employed at the miliiary airport. Mctssrs O. L. and R. J. McDermott have been in Wanganui this week, their uncle, AJr C. Crichton, having passed away there. BULLS, July 15.

The Bulls Miniature Rifle Club successfully defended the AlcKelvie Cup on Tuesday evening, the challengers being Feilding, who gave the holders a close run, only being 5 points down on tho final court. This markos Bulls’ 16lh eonsevutive win. Tho record, 17 consecutive AlcKe’.vie Cup wins, in held by the Ohakea Club. Mr C. M.
