MAN A WATU-OROUA AREA. The bi-monthly meeting of the Manawatu-Oroua River Board was held to-day, Mr }A. A. Mitchell presiding. There were present: Messrs T D. Lvnch, H. J. Lancaster, B G. Gower, R. J. l*nw, W. Jackson, ». £>■ Carter and H. Seifert. A vote of sympathy with Mr J. Callesen in the‘death of his sister was carried and Mr Calieson was granted leave of absence.. „ „ , ~ It was decided to vote £3 3s to the George V Memoral rund.
