The British Ministry of Labour Gazette states that changes in rates of wages reported to have come into operation in March, resulted in an' increase of nearly £30,000 in the weekly fulltime wages of about 244,000 workpeople apt! in a decrease of £SO in those of about 4000 workpeople.
