FEILDING SALE. Abraham and AA’illiams, Ltd. report as under on the Feilding sale: A largo yarding of all classes of stock was submitted. Fat sheep were penned well in excess of advertised numbers. Lambs, owing no doubt to the drop in schedulo l-atds in the last week, showed an casing tendency and competition was somewhat restricted. A heavy yarding of fat ewes comprised of very fow pons of well-finished sheop came forward. Competition 011 the bottor quality owes was keen, but plainer sorts wore neglected. Some pons of good quality wethers were offered and these met with a good sale, values being on a par with recent sales. Tho storo sheep section was comprised of mostly brooding owes and holdover wether lambs. The competition on tho breeding ewes was somewhat dull, with the exception of a fow reliable lines which mot with a ready sale. The luinb market was steady, values on the better class of Romney wether lamb showing an appreciation oil recent rates. One pen of 220 2th whethors, well woolled and carrying a lot of condition, specially advertised on account of Mr A. R, Bartlett, Kimbolton, realised 275. A heavy _ yarding of fut cattlo was again submitted to a large bench of buyers. Tho market in this section maintained a buoyant nature and values woro well up to recent sales. Storo cows woro ponnod in largo numbers and sold at recent rates. A small yarding of dairy cattlo was offered and cattlo close to calving and showing quality were keenly sought after, other sorts being neglected.
