PURCHASES FOR MANAWATU. At the dispersal sale of Mr H. -T. Kayo’s Hatcliffe (Taranaki) Jersey 1 cattle stud, top prico for the females offered was 63 guineas, at which figure Mr 11. J. Lancaster, of Glen Oroua, secured Hatcliffe Japonica, winner of several show awards. Mr P. A. Anderson, Levin, paid 42 guineas for Hatcliffe Zennia. Other purchases were : To Ngiitu.
