DAIRY PRODUCE.
PROGRESSIVE IMPROVEMENT. The progressive improvement in butter on the London market continued last week, the price of New Zealand salted reaching 101 s. This is the highest level attained since the middle of December and represents a rise of 17s in a little over a month. The guaranteed price of 12.56 d per lb f.o.b. is still above tbo market price, however, and the delicit of the Government's industry acccent with the Reserve Bank must continue to increase. 'The present price in London is equivalent to 11.88 d per lb t.o.b. New Zealand ports.
