FROZEN MEAT. INCREASED KILLINGS. Killings of fat stock for export at all Dominion works daring the 5i months of tho 1936-37 season ended March 15 show an increase of nearly 500,000 lambs compared with those for tho corresponding period of la6t season. Chilled beef increased by 29,558 quarters, blit frozen beef decreased by 26.041 quarters. According to the roturns issued by the Meat Board, killings of ewe mutton decreased by 93,311 carcases, but this was largely offset by an increase of 00,333 carcases of wether mutton. The total killings of ewes and wethers were 559.763 oarcai-ce. as against 912,741 carcases last season, a net decrease of 12.978 carcases.
